Technically (in the human world) 'I' am the registered owner of a cat named Sophie. Sophie (aka THE CAT) would (and does) see things somewhat differently! If you could ask her, she would probably say something like, 'the idiot that feeds me and opens and closes the door for me' or maybe if she was feeling more charitable, 'he is a part of my semi-competent retinue'. What isn't in doubt is that I am an ailurophile ... and Sophie is remarkable.
Most humans think that cats live in 'their' world. Fortunately I have enough self-awareness to realise that I live in Sophie's orbit ...
I am regularly told by other well-meaning humans, 'oh you are so kind to have adopted a blind cat'.
I politely smile-like-an-idiot knowing full well that I am incredibly fortunate to have been gifted the opportunity to serve Sophie.

So Who am I?
Sophie and I are housemates ... I am the narrator of her story ... and together we are colleagues on a mission to spread love.
